El Instituto Nacional de Cine y Artes Audiovisuales (INCAA) anuncia que a partir de la fecha, hasta el 30 de junio, se encuentra abierta la inscripción de películas para la 39ª edición del Festival Internacional de Cine de Mar del Plata, que se desarrollará del jueves 21 de noviembre al domingo 01 de diciembre de 2024.
En esta edición, el Festival celebrará los 70 años desde que la ciudad de Mar del Plata fue elegida como sede, por tratarse del destino turístico por excelencia.
El Festival Internacional de Cine de Mar del Plata se encuentra entre los quince festivales del mundo calificados como “Clase A” por la Federación Internacional de Asociaciones de Productores Cinematográficos (FIAPF); categoría que comparte, entre otros, con Cannes, Venecia y San Sebastián, además de ser el único en su clase en Latinoamérica.

Argentina’s National Film Institute (INCAA) announces that as of today, until June 30, film submissions are open for the 39th edition of the Mar del Plata International Film Festival, which will be held from Thursday, November 21 to Sunday, December 1, 2024.
In this edition, the Festival will celebrate 70 years since the city of Mar del Plata was chosen as the venue, as it is the quintessential tourist destination.
Mar del Plata International Film Festival is among the fifteen festivals in the world classified as “Class A” by the Fédération Internationale des Associations des Producteurs Cinématographiques (FIAPF), a category shared with festivals such as Cannes, Venice and San Sebastian, as well as being the only one of its kind in Latin America.
